Hot Shots Espresso Reviews
My favorite morning coffee spot. Best caramel macchiatos ever!!! Definitely will miss this place.
Amazing coffee, and the owner is the nicest person. When we moved here I stopped by because it was close, and it became my favorite coffee shop. She always remembered my drink and was very kind. Support small businesses and get your coffee here!
My boyfriend and I got a coffee here once and we have never stopped coming back! The owner is a very friendly lady who is a hard worker. The coffee is amazing and very cheap compared to other bigger chains. I highly recommend trying out the coffee and getting to know the owner, she's very sweet :))
I ended up going a few weeks ago with a friend. The pricing is similar to most other coffee shops, between like 4 and 6, I think 6 or 7 for a small shake. But the sizing is pretty good. I got a scoop of ice cream with a waffle cone for 7. Seems reasonable to me. Not a crazy amount flavors to choose from but fast service and the person serving was super sweet. No inside service.
This stretch of 164th is a major thoroughfare for the huge subdivisions radiating out in every direction from here. Rush hour is a massive throughput of people and cars, and in the mornings, even the dozen++ coffee places around here all get busy. Hot Shots is the biggest of the drive-through huts. It's closer to the size of a convenience store, but built like one of those portable huts that barely has room for coffee equipment. This place has tons of hot and cold stuff in addition to all the coffee drinks at the drive-through window. The lady is super nice--friendly and cheerful, and quick to point out that she has owned the joint for 17 years. She clearly feels like she is part of the community. Easy to see why--she must say hello to dozens, if not hundreds, of residents every morning. The coffee is rock solid. Kind of an earthy Americano, plenty of flavor, good kick of caffeine. Giant one for $4. This is way out of the way for me, but if I lived nearby I'd for sure hit it regularly.
Great drinks! Reasonable prices. I typically make my own coffee at home, but when I'm in the mood for a splurge, this is where I go. Their caramel macchiatos are delicious.
